PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM PARTNERS WITH FULLBRIDGE TO EXPAND BUSINESS EDUCATION RESOURCES FOR LAWYERS

Partnership to Help Lawyers Respond to In-House Counsel Needs

MCLEAN, VA / CAMBRIDGE, MA (April 17, 2015) – Today, the Professional Development Consortium (PDC) announced that Fullbridge, the leading workforce skills educator and provider of unique business education programs for lawyers, will be its “2015 Visionary Corporate Partner.” As the premier consortium of individuals focused on creating and overseeing training and professional development initiatives for lawyers, the PDC selected Fullbridge to further enhance business education training resources, increase professional development opportunities and strengthen client relationships for its legal industry membership.

As In-house counsel continue to stress the value of working with outside lawyers who understand business operations, law firms recognize the necessity of having lawyers with critical business and financial skills to effectively respond to their clients’ needs. The PDC, which provides individuals working at law firms, law schools, government agencies and corporations with a unique, collaborative forum to exchange best practices, will now have the added benefit of Fullbridge’s insight as the “go to” educator of lawyers and other professionals regarding the business world.

“Fullbridge has educated over 1500 attorneys with the top law firms across 30 major cities throughout the US, Europe and Asia and the PDC is thrilled to have them as our Visionary Corporate Partner,” said Jim Lovelace, PDC Chair. “As a firm that offers dynamic and innovative education programs for attorneys regarding the business world, Fullbridge is a natural fit with the PDC, which in 2015, celebrates its 25th year of educating those who foster and enhance professional development opportunities for lawyers.”

“Fullbridge looks forward to working with the PDC to provide added resources for its members and to develop expanded, scalable solutions to help law firms meet their client relationship and professional development needs,” noted Simon Colley, Fullbridge’s Vice President of Education. “By focusing on the essential competencies attorneys need to succeed in a modern law firm and teaching lawyers how to manage time and understand financial and accounting concepts to better communicate with clients, Fullbridge will continue to be a powerful differentiator for PDC members answering the client-service challenge.”

As PDC’s Visionary Corporate Partner, Fullbridge will provide access to training programs, practical resources for the PDC’s website re-launching this summer, and content for its membership newsletters, as well as a presence at PDC’s 2015 Summer Conference July 9-11, 2015 in San Francisco.
