The 2024 Summer Conference is an educational event where professionals in the legal industry gather to network and learn from their peers and colleagues. The conference will take place July 11-13 at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

Networking Events

Wednesday Dine Around

On Wednesday, July 10th, you’ll have a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones as you dine together in small groups. Sign-up during registration, pick from the choices below; we will make the reservations and you pay your own way:

  • Kansas City BBQ – Sleazy bar scene from original Top Gun filmed in July 1985
  • Little Italy Food Hall -Wine Wednesdays and more than one food vendor to choose from.
  • The Crack Shack – Fun outdoor fried chicken restaurant by celeb chef Richard Blaise
  • The Fish Market– Grilled fish and seafood plates served in a bayfront spot featuring outdoor seating and a retail market.

Dine and Develop: The Annual PDC Large Group Dinner

Thursday, July 11 is our annual large group dinner! Sign up during registration to join us at our popular dinner event, this year at Ketch Brewing!  One of the best ways to meet new PDCers and connect with longstanding PDC friends in a fun evening of dinner and drinks!

Small Group Activities

The Summer Conference Committee has planned these fun small group events for Friday, July 12th! Get out of the hotel and into San Diego with your new PDC friends. Sign up during registration to receive more information about these events:

Fitness Fun

July 12 – 7am – Burt’s Walk: A PDC tradition including a casual 2 mile walking tour of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.

July 12 – 7:45am – Yoga: Start day two of the conference recharged after a yoga/meditation session.
