Toronto

The Toronto local group is comprised of over 50 members represented by 20+ Firms. Our membership is a combination of PD learning and talent leaders in addition to Directors of Student programs who focus on recruitment and management of summer and articling students.  In 2000 (give or take one year), the Toronto group began to meet semi-regularly and over the past few years have become more structured. We meet 6 times annually including a year-end holiday social and rotate firm hosts.  Organized by an informal committee, the agenda is circulated in advance of the meetings and includes a knowledge share where participants ask questions, discuss program successes, etc. followed by a substantive part of the meeting that may include learning or may be a topic of general interest to the group e.g. how firms onboard. We have a Toronto listserv platform which we share with the Toronto KM group.
