Ben Franklin
Ben Franklin is the Senior Legal Education Manager for the Business Department at Cooley LLP, where he oversees the design, development, and implementation of legal training curricula for transactional lawyers. This includes virtual, hybrid, and in-person training across a variety of practice groups and seniority levels. Prior to joining Cooley, Ben gained valuable experience as the Professional Development Manager at Nutter McClennan & Fish, served as a Visiting Attorney Advisor at Boston University School of Law, and practiced law at a Vault 100 law firm and as an Assistant District Attorney. Ben currently serves as chair of the PDC’s Technology & Innovation Committee.
In addition to his work in legal education, Ben is actively involved in Cooley’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts, promoting a culture of belonging among attorneys and business professionals.
Ben has a B.A. from the University of Mary Washington and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. He lives in Massachusetts with his husband, two children, and dog.
