Steve Gluckman
Steve Gluckman is a nationally recognized thought leader in legal talent management and the founder of multiple successful ventures at the intersection of technology, learning, and workforce strategy.
Best known as the founder and former CEO of SkillBurst Interactive, Steve built the company into a premier provider of digital learning solutions for leading law firms. Under his leadership, SkillBurst (acquired in 2024 by BARBRI, Inc.) pioneered on-demand learning programs that empower firms to upskill their people, drive cultural change, and adapt to emerging challenges—including AI adoption and evolving workforce expectations.
Steve’s experience also includes leading talent management for an Am Law firm, where he helped design and implement strategies for attorney development, performance management, and career advancement.
Steve is the author of E-Learning for Law Firms, an American Bar Association best-selling book, and continues to shape the future of legal talent through ClearPlanet, his newest venture.
Named a “Trusted Advisor” by the Professional Development Consortium every year since 2015, Steve previously served as a Harvard-appointed Senior Fellow, where he explored the role of technology in transforming large institutions. He is also the author of a Harvard case study on innovation and leadership in networked organizations.
Steve holds an MPA from Harvard University and a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from Binghamton University’s Watson School of Engineering.
