2019/2020 Board of Directors Announced

August 1, 2019 (McLean, VA) The Professional Development Consortium (PDC) is pleased to announce its 2019/2020 Board of Directors. The 2019/2020 PDC Board, which officially took office on July 12, was formally presented during the PDC Summer Conference during the Membership Meeting. Milana Hogan, Chief Legal Talent Officer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, will serve her as the new PDC Chair.

The PDC Board is pleased to welcome our two newest board members Kristen Uhl Hulse, Assistant Professor of the Practice of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Matthew Galando, Professional Development Consultant at K&L Gates LLP. With the addition of these two board members, the PDC Board would like to thank Debbie Atlas, Director of Attorney Recruiting at Ice Miller LLP and Amy Hancock (Immediate Past Chair), Director of Lawyer Recruiting & Development at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP who completed their board terms in July 2019. Amy and Debbie have both served on the board since 2015.

Both have made tremendous contributions to the PDC during their tenure and have been wonderful colleagues and dedicated, thoughtful team members. While we will sorely miss Debbie and Amy, we are equally thrilled to welcome Kristen Uhl Hulse and Matthew Galando, both of whom will bring great energy, enthusiasm and thought-leadership to the PDC. I know we will benefit greatly from having them on the team and we are all looking forward to working with them!” said Milana Hogan. 

“In addition, we’ve had a few changes on the PDC Board Executive Committee. Don Smith, Senior Director, Talent & Inclusion at Crowell & Moring LLP has moved into the Immediate Past-Chair role; Jane Williamson, Senior Director of Attorney Talent at Ropes & Gray LLP has transitioned from her role as Treasurer to Vice Chair; and Jeanne Picht, Director, Professional Development at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP has taken Jane’s place as Treasurer.”
