Ian Nelson
Ian Nelson is a Co-Founder of Hotshot, which is a company that delivers digital learning to the legal industry.
Ian and his team help professional development departments create and deliver engaging training programs to their lawyers and staff. Hotshot’s content includes short videos, training exercises, quizzes, and outlines across corporate, litigation, and business topics.

Before starting Hotshot, he helped start the US operations of Practical Law Company where he was an attorney-editor and Practical Law’s head of marketing. When in practice, he was a corporate associate with Kramer Levin in NY. Ian received his JD from Hofstra Law School, where he was an editor of the Hofstra Law Review.
Ian has a passion for and love of professional development and encourages PDC members to reach out at any time to connect. He lives in Miami with his wife Leslie and their rescue dog, Mr. Woofington.
